David Cameron has occasionally said he wants to overturn the foxhunting ban. It’s a sensitive subject, which divides many people. Today, hunting is considered a necessary component of modern wildlife management.
Wildlife managers determine the desirable levels of wild species, aiming to balance the needs of wildlife with the needs of people. Game keeping is designed to maintain a high population of the more profitable species for conservational or recreational purposes.

Trophy hunting is described by many as an exhilarating experience, which incurs many legislations that have to be taken seriously. Each hunting organisation is responsible for providing a safe and humane environment for the game as well as the hunters. If you are interested in hunting, it is best to choose a member of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). You are welcome to browse the hunting companies featured on yumping.co.uk.
Deer stalking is the pursuit of deer for sporting purposes. Similar to fishing, deer stalking is also designed to cull deer for their meat, venison. Why do the majority of us not consider fishing a hunting sport when the fish captured are not always released? It´s an interesting question. The practice of hunting is not for everyone, yet we should respect one another´s pastimes as long as the hunting school concerned abides to the Hunting Act 2004.

If you are a professional hunter or simply interested in exploring the techniques of hunting in greater detail, we have various hunting schools located throughout the U.K. on yumping.co.uk. Perhaps, a taster session will help you make a better informed decision about the politics of hunting and the national debate.
