Welcome to Ford Air Rifle Ranges

Set in the West Sussex countryside, Ford Air Rifle Ranges provide safe and supervised indoor and outdoor range facilities though out the year. We offer both private and group memberships, which provide a variety of benefits for our members. We provide five ranges, a club room with refreshments and off-road parking facilities.

Responsible Shooting

Our range is supervised by qualified personnel, who not only can teach you how to shoot safely and responsibly but also how to improve your shooting. We are particularly keen to teach younger people the correct manner in which to handle air weapons and promote responsibility in shooting sports. We run the BASC Young shots air rifle training days and NSRA proficiency and safety courses.

Airsoft Battle Games and Training

One of our newest ventures is to provide a safe venue for airsoft battle games and to provide training to enthusiasts wishing to pit themselves against each other and the staff on CQB and FIBUA facilities carrying out hostage rescue, close protection drills, bunker busting, close target reconnaissance and much more. The first weekend of the month is dedicated to this training and exercises. No live ammunition can be used during this period - apologies to the airgunners who don't partake in these activities and have lost one weekend a month.

About the site

The site is based on an area of the disused Ford airfield. The entire site is hard surfaced and therefore all-weather. The site is ideally suited for members, local clubs and as a venue for action-packed corporate entertainment.

Practical Pistol

One of our exclusive facilities is our indoor dedicated practical pistol range. Housed in our main building and consisting of three linked and CCTV covered rooms.

Disabled Facilities

We have designated disabled parking and provide wheel chair access to both our indoor and outdoor ranges and our clubroom. As we have mentioned above, the whole site is hard surfaced and wheelchair friendly.
