Horizon Ballooning was established in 1994 holds a current Air Operators certificate issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which means that all of our procedures meet with the strict standards required. All of our pilots hold commercial licenses and are subjected to annual medical and flight checks with a CAA examiner to demonstrate their skills and to maintain our professional standards.

Hot Air Balloon Flights
The hot air balloon ride will last about one hour but you will need to allow 3-4 hours for the whole experience. You can fly from any of our launch sites in Hampshire, Surrey or West Sussex. When you meet on the launch site you will be checked in by our groundcrew. After the passenger safety briefings are completed the hot air balloon will be prepared and as part of the experience you can if you wish help the crew, when all the final safety checks are complete the adventure begins.
