Day time and evening sessions available all year round with stadium lighting used after dark. Why go anywhere else.... Are you are looking to entertain clients, hold a team building exercise or are you just after a high-octane adventure with your colleagues? Whatever your requirements, Walker Adams is a professionally run off road karting outfit that aims to meet your needs.
Walker-Adams is located in a unique urban venue with easy access to the Birmingham conference centres, hotels and restaurants.
We cater for group sizes of up to 30 people for an off-road karting event and 60 people for a combined event that offers off-road karting with either laser clay pigeon shooting or regular karting.
Rally Event
The rally event has individuals competing against each other for 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions. Ideal for small to medium size groups. In the rally event individuals compete to get the six quickest laps. Each driver has three races to achieve this. Medals are given to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. You can choose from the popular Standard Rally Event or test your stamina in our demanding Enthusiast Rally Event where the 2nd and 3rd races are double the time.
Racing is similar to regular karting except starts are staggered due to the size of the karts Once racing is underway you can chase down and over-take other drivers. Lap times are measured by computer controlled timing equipment that allows you to track your position throughout the event. Up to 6 x 930cc WA Sport karts will race on the track at any one time (dependant on group size)
Endurance Event
The endurance event has teams competing to complete the most number of laps in the allotted race time. An ideal team building event that is suited for medium to large groups. You can choose a 1, 1.5 or 2 hour endurance race. Each team is responsible for getting their kart and the team members to the end of the race. This involves all team members working together to determine a race strategy that includes driver order, duration and pit changeovers. Medals are given to the winning team
You can have up to five teams racing in an event. We recommend a maximum of six drivers per team.
Multi Activity Event
Walker-Adams has combined forces with other venues in Birmingham to offer a unique multi-activity packages available only in Birmingham. Spend part of your day tackling the challenging Walker-Adams off-road course driving WA Sport karts. The package includes the standard rally event where individuals compete against each other. Then, transfer over to the other venue (indoor / outdoor Karting, Laser Clay Shooting) for an unforgettable second event. Package can include mid event catering and refreshments.
