Can you imagine being in a tropical location diving in warm, crystal clear water, surrounded by brightly coloured coral and fish? You and your buddy put on your dive equipment to enter the water and explore the abundance of marine life – all the while hovering weightlessly underwater. Or you could be off exploring a shipwreck off the south coast of the UK– where conditions are more challenging.

Experienced divers are all too aware of the thrill of the ocean depths, descending the slopes of underwater mountains, exploring the eerily silent decks of long-forgotten shipwrecks, or tackling spectacular undersea cliffs which suddenly drop to seeming infinity. But not all dive sites require such daring. There are areas where diving to just 4 metres, novices can enjoy amazing interactions with the wildlife.

There are coral gardens of unimagined colour just below the surface, and there are beautiful sub-sea sanctuaries where the 'locals' are as inquisitive as their visitors. In short, there are as many reasons to dive as there are fish on the reefs.

When would i need need a hood for diving?

At what temperatures do you need to wear a hood when diving. I assume that one does not have to be worn in warm water, only in colder waters, but I´m not completely sure. ...
