Dive Training with Scuba First!

Unlike any other dive centre or dive school in the UK, our unique approach to PADI diver training, combined with our own purpose built 40,000 gallon heated dive-pool facility, ensures that you can become PADI qualified in a single day.

You Own Personal Instructor in Your Own Personal Pool. With a guarantee that there are never more than 2 students to 1 Instructor in the pool at any one time and having no time limits on your day in the pool, it's basically like having your own personal instructor in your own personal pool.
PADI Instructors with 20 years Experience of Teaching. We are able to share with you over 20 years of PADI instruction from both the UK and overseas. At Scuba First you can expect to achieve the highest level of PADI dive skills, knowledge and safety, giving you the confidence to enjoy many happy years of safe diving.

Dive Courses

Open Water
Open Water is the entry level qualification for PADI Divers. It is a globally recognised qualification, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world. Once qualified your certification is valid for life. (Refresher sessions are recommended for those who haven't dived in a while - typically 1 year).

Dive Skills Refresher
If you haven't been diving for at least 6-12 months you may wish to consider a Skills refresher.

With Scuba First you can have up to an hour in water time with your own personal instructor to run through a skills circuit, whilst putting all the skills in context.

Cross Over to PADI Certification
Scuba First provides easy and accessible cross-over for those divers who want the PADI qualification in addition to their own current dive qualification.

Try Dives
We recognise that diving costs a lot of money, and if it's not for you, then you've spent a lot of money on a course unnecessarily. That's why we offer try dives just to give you a taster of what its like to wear SCUBA gear and breathe underwater.
