Licence Nº not providedAbout the Jo-Dan IV Built for Portsmouth based charter SKIPPER Phill Hunt, 'Jo Dan IV' is only the second WILDCAT catamaran to be delivered to UK skippers. She is fitted with twin Volvo 63P engines @ 370 hp and has a maximum speed of 26kts on a 10,200kg displacement with a comfortable 22kts cruise.
THE SKIPPER - Phill Hunt
Phill Hunt, the Skipper, has been "messing about in boats" most of his life. He is an experienced fisherman and an active member of the Professional Boatman's Association, he is a fully qualified Offshore Skipper holding a Certificate of Competence as an RYA/MCA Coastal Skipper.
He is also a PADI Advanced Diver and has dived wrecks all over the world, especially the Red Sea and the Caribbean, including the "Thistledorm" for those in the know! He frequently takes out Dive Charters but now says he is too old and it's too cold for him to dive the Solent himself these days! He prefers the warmer climes!
Sponsers - Phill also works closely with Shakespeare, one of the largest fishing tackle suppliers in Europe, and "Jo-Dan 1V" currently enjoys their sponsorship.
Latest Technology - "Jo-Dan 1V" acts as a Test Boat for Raymarine and is equipped with the latest Marine Electronics currently available.
Corporate Hospitality
For those wishing to entertain their clients or provide a team building atmosphere for their staff, we are able to arrange Corporate Hospitality Days tailored to suit your requirements. For keen fisherman, we offer a full day's fishing or for those interested in a more leisurely outing we offer fishing in the morning followed by a fast cruise over to Cowes or Yarmouth for lunch and a pint! We can also add even more fun to our days out with the addition of two new fast ribs.
Special Charters
On a more serious note, we occasionally receive enquiries from bereaved relatives about scattering the ashes of their loved ones at sea. Consequently, we have recently introduced a private sunset charter for relatives, leaving late afternoon and returning some three hours later when the ambiance at sea appears very suited to the occasion.
