The Boat
Telmar is a 27 foot (8.3 metre) Fishing vessel licenced to carry 7 passengers. With her Perkins Sabre 215 Horse Power Diesel Engine she will cruise at a comfortable 120knots with a maximum speed of 14knots.
Kitted out with all the necessary safety equipment including childrens life jackets she is a very stable vessel that provides a smooth ride for keen fishermen and families alike.
Commercial Fishing
Telmar is a commercial Bass boat that also does Charter Fishing. I land my bass at Samways Fish Merchants and also supply The Hive Cafe at Burton Bradstock.
All our fish are caught by Rod and line then Bled and iced at sea ensuring top quality and freshness.
Charter Fishing
Telmar is licensed to carry six passengers and 2 crew. we specialise in all local species from mackerrel to the mighty Bass, the following trips are available by arrangement.
- 8 Hour day trips
- 4 hour half day trips
- Mackerrell trips 2 hours
- Specialised Bass fishing
- Wreck fishing
- Individuals
As well as fishing we can offer the boat for charter of the following activities;
