The Skipper  Paul Wells     

Paul is 54 years old married with 4 children and lives in Weston super Mare.
Paul began angling in the early 1970’s taking his hobby further shortly afterwards by running a fishing boat from his mooring on the River Axe, Weston Bay.

He built his first boat in 1990 and fished using this boat for his living for 8 years, single-handed long lining and trammel netting

Paul also joined the Weston super Mare RNLI in 1984 and ended his afloat service as one of the stations Helmsman. Paul is now one of four dedicated launching authorities for the RNLI.

In 2000 Paul returned to HGV driving for a living but still kept his vessel and angling as his hobby .

With the arrival of a new evolution 33 charter boat Paul has moved operations base to Portishead Quay Marina and is looking forward to returning to the Bristol Channel full time.
