Joe went down to Perch Rock but by the time he arrived at about and hour before low it was pretty crowded. He had a quick look around then decided against setting up at one of the remaining tackle graveyard marks.
Perch Rock Low Water 10th Jan 2010
With the cancellation of the Fish & Meet, the Three Legged Cat and the Prawnster were at a loose end as to where to go for our regular Sunday outing, Richie and Middo were fishing the RAFA match at Perch Rock so we thought we'd tag along - more for the craic than any expectations of a fish-fest
Joe Just Had to Get Out !!
Joe had to get out after all the festivities so he decided to head for the Mersey. After collecting bait on friday evening they set off with fresh lug, fresh crab (shore and hermit) and muscle.
First port of call was cod corner met up with mal and kev who had arrived a bit earlier and as he was setting up kev gets his first of the day.
This was the first outing of the year for Prawnster and The Three Legged Cat and as he had to get some shoes for work (boring) it was to be a local affair.
Bromborough was ideal... shoe shop and fishing within easy reach of each other, High water was about 12.45 and a biggish tide, we got to the wall around about 10.15 and found our way (to the right) to a space as it was already quite busy.
