    What special gear do i need for ice climbing?

    Apart from the pick, what other special equipment is needed?

    You will need:
    1: an ice ax
    2: Warm clothing
    3: Crampons or fruit boots
    4: Spikes for your footwear (either dual or mono-point spike)
    5: Ice climbing screws which are used for the anchors

    and most importanly, a great guide or experience
