We offer visitors the opportunity to experience gliding with one of our qualified instructors who will take you soaring in one of our modern gliders. You can learn to handle the controls or just sit back and enjoy the views, most of our visitors tell us its an experience they will never
forget. Some enjoy it so much they join the club and learn to fly.
For those who want to become glider pilots after a trial lesson we offer comprehensive training to take you from ab-initio to solo and beyond. For experienced pilots we offer all year round soaring and the opportunity to experience excellent wave flying, particularly during our autumn wave weeks.
The Borders Gliding Club is run entirely by unpaid volunteers and any profits made by the Club are re-invested into Club facilities and equipment. The Club is a member of the Glendale Sports & Leisure Association.
