Welcome to Green Dragons Hang Gliding!

What is hang gliding?

You will be mounted on a harness hanging from a wing frame and exercise control by shifting your body weight. You will experience flying like a bird.

Is hang gliding safe?

We only operate if the conditions are just right. The most important pre-requisites are:

  • Pilot attitude
  • Competent instruction
  • Safe equipment
We accomplish all 3 and assume all responsibility for your safety.

Who can fly?

You can fly from 16 years old and there is no upper age limit.

So what are you waiting for? Try something new and exciting! We offer individual and group sessions; it all depends on what you are looking for. It normally only takes around 10 days to train a would-be-pilot to Club Pilot Level. Our qualified instructors will take you through the mechanics of hang gliding step by step until you feel confident enough to fly solo.
