Riding Lessons
Here at 6 Ashes we offer a variety of different riding lessons for both adults and children. Our lessons cater for the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced riders. We also offer training to develop the skills of riders competing at all levels, whether its your first local show or you're a regular competitor!
We have an outdoor arena where most of our lessons take place. Alternatively, jumping lessons are available in the jumping field behind the yard. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and have farmland on our doorstep for hacks out as an alternative to lessons in the menage.
We believe that stable management is an important part of learning to ride, and for this reason we offer lessons to children consisting of 30 minutes stable management and 30 minutes riding. We find the children enjoy and benefit from learning how to take care of their pony, and it is a great way for them to make new friends at the yard.
You don't have to be a child to learn!
Hacking
For our more competent riders we offer hacks out around the countryside where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the relaxation of horse riding.
A member of staff leads the hacks, and has good knowledge of many different hacking routes in the area.
Livery
Our staff and current livery clients are extremely helpful and aim to make 6 Ashes a friendly, relaxed yard. If you are new to horse ownership, livery is an ideal way to have the help and support of others and there are knowledgeable staff on hand to offer advise if you want it.
