Welcome to the exclusive Downside Riding Centre where horse riding and natural beauty collide in the scenic location of Vale of Glamorgan between Barry and Cardiff., we are a well known and professional centre that can offer you nearly two decades of experience and backing from the ABRS.
You can come to us regardless of age, level or ability; we welcome everyone and take real pleasure in contributing to and measuring the success and progress of our guests.
The Downside Riding Centre ponies come in all shapes and sizes and they will be matched to you based on your own specific needs and abilities. New riders can start out with a short trot in the indoor arena while the more advanced riders can go for a ride in the great outdoors. No matter what you do it’s all good safe fun!
For those of you who are lucky enough to have your own horse then you can take full advantage of our livery service which will mean your horse is nurtured, pampered and in the safest hands!
We have a comprehensive list of lessons and activities and we are sure that you can find something to suit you in amongst the following:
