This unique small riding centre, located on a working livestock farm specialises in sightseeing & wildlife watching treks, riding Scotland`s versatile Highland Ponies. Operated by one experienced guide, pony trekking for small private groups is our speciality.
Discover Knapdale & Kintyre's less accessible places the eco-friendly way: meet the exhilarating challenge of the land on a sure footed Highland Pony riding across open hill or meandering through ancient Atlantic Oak Woodland where wildlife abounds.

Highland Horse Riding is local authority licensed, is approved by the Trekking & Riding Society of Scotland ( TRSS ).
Trek with Highland Horse Riding
Highland Horse Riding is run by Ileene Duncan BHSAI, who with her husband & family farm Stonefield Farm, an extensive hill farm. You are likely to see Blackface Sheep, Highland Cattle & farmed Red Deer, (Oysters are also grown in West Loch Tarbert ) and abundant wildlife. For riding the terrain is diverse, sometimes challenging, but you can always be assured of an interesting & exhilarating experience!
