Licence Nº not providedLettershuna Riding Centre is a well established riding centre near Oban, Scotland, specialising in supervised riding and trekking excursions in the Appin area.
Our ride leader will take you riding and trekking in the quiet, serene beauty of the Appin area of Oban, Scotland.
Lettershuna Riding Centre is situated 20 miles north of Oban and 25 miles south of Fort William on the A828 opposite the Island of Shuna.
We have a selection of well-schooled horses and ponies for hacking and trekking. Most of our riding is on quiet coastal tracks and beaches.
We offer a variety of rides to cater for all standards. The minimum age is 4 years old and there’s no upper limit!
We start with a ½ hour ride for the young and those wishing to experience the thrill of riding for the first time.
The most popular ride is for 1 hour where we have three standards. The first is a lead ride, where a leader will walk beside the very young or those wishing assistance, then a trek and finally an experienced ride for those comfortable with trotting and cantering.
Experienced riders can also enjoy a 2 hour ride with the unique opportunity of riding round Castle Stalker on its rocky islet when the tide is suitable.
Private rides are available by request.
