Licence Nº not providedThe Sunshine Horse Riding School is a family riding business with 14 horses, located at the foot of Warden Hills in Luton, with ménage and field working facilities and direct access to several bridlepaths.
- Horse riding operates 7 days a week delivering riding lessons for children and adults.
- Bridleway access for experienced riders.
- Group horse riding lessons operate every weekend, private lessons in the week.
- After School horse riding clubs and evening lessons operate during the summer.
- A full programme of half day and full day activities takes place every school holiday and half term.
Sunshine Horse Riding is approved by Luton Borough Council to operate a riding establishment under the Riding Establishment Act and is a Keits approved Training and Assessment Centre.
Volunteers who want to work with horses or become competent handlers are welcome. We operate a programme of handler development and provide riding, caring and teaching experience for those at Equine College or on animal care courses.
Livery & Hacking at Sunshine
Situated at the confluence of 3 bridleways we offer livery in a location with direct access to extensive bridleways avoiding the need for road work.
Working Livery
To help with the cost of horse ownership we offer ‘Working Livery’ to selected horses we consider suitable to be used in the riding school. In exchange for the use of your horse in the riding school you get much reduced livery charges and you can still ride your horse every day.
DIY Livery
We have a limited number of spaces.
Our livery services can include a scheme to ensure your horse is looked after in an emergency or when you are on holiday. We also have access to vets, farriers, horse equipment and clothing at preferential rates. A horse box is available to hire.
