Enjoy kayaking in beautiful surroundings with Dartmoor Outdoor Company Kayaking. We offer:

one-week kayaking course
intermediate kayaking lessons

Our one-week course is designed to leave you feeling invigorated and keen to carry-on kayaking on a regular basis. It is a week of escapism and will get you up close and personal with the great outdoors.

The group numbers are small and the teaching is directed at beginners and those with a little experience who are looking to build their confidence and skill. You will spend each day on either local estuaries, rivers or in the sea. We will teach you how to manoeuvre a river kayak successfully and paddle efficiently. Furthermore, you will be taken safely through the capsize drill before progressing onto surf kayaking!

Our intermediate kayaking lessons are designed for those who are looking for an even greater challenge. You will learn how to kayak in white waters! It is a dynamic course, which takes place on the South West´s classic rivers. An assessment of your kayaking ability will be carried out before you are accepted onto the course.
