Kilbowie Outdoor Centre provides a fantastic location for Primary 7 pupils to attend a 5 day residential course. When it is not being used to teach these kids a range of lifeskills then we can welcome other groups to enjoy our beautiful location in North Lanarkshire

We are located on the shore of the Sound of Karrera, just 2 kilometres south of Oban and provide a fantastic range of adventures and experiences including:

As well as our own orienteering courses set at our beautiful location we also have access to a larger course offsite in Sutherlands Grove, a local forest that provides the perfect location for those with more experience looking for a challenge.

Orienteering combines navigation skills with an exciting race where you have to find checkpoints marked only on your map. You will need to utilise all the skills your experienced instructors will teach you including how to use a map and compass inorder to plan the quickest route to find the checkpoints in the right order and cross the finish line first.
