Welcome to Pete Hill MIC, a grand outdoor activity trainer that will provide you with outstand Mountaineering Training for summer or winter, guiding and rock climbing and hill walking. Leader and instructor Pete Hill is the holder of various qualifications including Mountain Instructor Certificate and Honorary Life Member of the Association of Mountaineering and he has also stood as President of the Mountaineering Council of Scotland.

What we can offer you:

• ML, CWA or CWAS training: If you are looking to obtain mountaineering qualifications, look no further; we offer the best instructor out there!
• Rock Climbing: A variety of sessions are available from taster sessions, intermediate to improvised rescue techniques!
• Hiking: Training in hill walking, navigation and scrambling

Come climbing with us at Pete Hill MIC Climbing! We offer climbing experiences and training for all levels of climbers, offering a variety of different climbing sessions with one for you that is sure to meet your needs.

We offer flexible tuition with short sessions to up to a full week of climbing! Here is a list of the following courses we offer:

• Rock Climbing Taster: this is a great session for those who have never climbed on natural rock. We will go over climbing techniques and the equipment you will use and you will then get the chance to start climbing! This course can be a day or more depending on you.
• Introductory Rock Climbing: This course entrails climbing on Scotland´s finest crags. This is an introductory course and it is also a great refresher for those with experience.
• Intro / Intermediate Rock Climbing – Bespoke Program: This course is designed for climber partners who have different levels of climbing abilities.
• Intermediate Rock Climbing: This is the course following out Introductory course and it gives climbers instruction for advanced climbing skills.
• Improvised Rescue Techniques: This course is designed for those looking to gain the essential rescue skills for climbers and mountaineers.

Our instructors are holders of valid qualification and they are experienced and passionate about the outdoors. We can offer 1-to-1, 2-to-1 training and well as instruction for larger groups.
