Fancy learning to paraglide? You can with Paraventure Airsports Paragliding! We are one of the longest established airport schools in the U.K. We specialise in professional and progressive instruction. We also understand that your time is precious and aim to be as flexible as possible.

We practice flying in the South of Wales, regarded by many as one of the best flying areas in the country. We are fortunate enough to have many different flying sites catering for all wind directions. On a paragliding course we will begin by getting to know each other and then it’s out to the hills. We believe in getting you out flying as soon as possible! The training will start with how to ground handle and launch your canopy before progressing to low level flights in order to build confidence, and then we will move even higher up the hill. You will always proceed at your own pace and each student will have a radio, which is like having the instructor in the air with you.

There are no limits! Once you have completed our beginner´s course you may wish to aim for the Elementary Pilot Certification (EPC). This is also the first officially recognised qualification in paragliding.

At Paraventure Airsports Paragliding we live to paraglide and to teach you how! Our instructors have more than 25 years of experience between them and you will be put at ease by their friendly and highly professional approach.

Is it completely necessary to wear a helmet when paragliding? Are goggles a must as well? I figure that the chances are that you won´t hit anything in the air as you´re not high enough to hit a plane ...
