Licence Nº not providedWe are a well established BHPA licensed school with the best facilities available for foot launch Paragliding, specialising in Beginner to Club Pilot courses.
Purple Haze Paragliding School is based at Shoreham Airport just five minutes from our main sites, on the beautiful South Downs.
We specialise in Elementary and Club Pilot courses. A good Instructor student ratio, will make sure you have the right environment to progress quickly and safely as possible. We DO NOT teach large groups, stag or fun days allowing our dedicated BHPA Instructors to give you the personal tuition you require, in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, on our exclusive private sites.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The training time before a student can fly unsupervised will depend on the individuals aptitude and weather conditions. First you have to achieve Elementary Pilot, which takes on average 4 days. These do not have to be taken consecutively. Still remaining under school supervision, the next step is to gain Club Pilot, this takes about 5 days tuition. Once you have Club Pilot you can fly unsupervised. This is a general guide as a license is achieved by passing set tasks.
