Surfing combines team work, individual motivation, fitness and most of all fun. Surfing also offers a safe and controlled environment to learn about rip currents, tides and other beach hazards with qualified instructors and lifeguards.
Alive Surf School operates the longest running kids surf camp in Northern Ireland, surfing in Portrush is the perfect way for kids to get familiar with the ocean and learn how to use it safely – while having lots of fun.
Surfing is the fastest growing sport in Ireland and offers a unique opportunity to have great fun, improve fitness and take advantage of the spectacular beaches and scenery we have in Portrush right on your doorstep.
We specialise in offering sporting teams, youth groups and groups of friends the chance to bond while also feeling the physical benefits that surfing offers. The Australian Institution of Sport acknowledges that surfing offers the ideal balance of speed, endurance, power, flexibility and balance. For seven years we have been providing team building days for hundreds of athletes and young people from all over Ireland and the UK to benefit from Alive Surf School.
