Details of Hiking Kildale and Baysdale
This is a pleasant and light circular trail hike through Kildale and Baysdale. This is an easy walk for most which should take roughly 3 hours and covers about 11km.
The majority of the trail follows paths although about a third of the route follows a small and quiet road.
This is a great walk for exploring nature and historical buildings such as the Baysadale Abbey that you will pass along the way or the scenic River Leven. Stop to contemplate this stream and by looking upstream you can see where she begins.
This can be done practically all year round weather permitting.
Please ensure that you are in good physical shape and try and go along with an experienced hiker if possible.
