Details of Lovely country walk in Middlewood
This is a wonderful country walk! It is a gentle stroll that will take about half a day approx as it´s a fairly long 13km more or less. This trail will take you through fields, woods, canal tow paths. It is a fairly flat walk with only a few gentle hills to climb which makes it great for the whole family. It is also a loop so no need to worry about getting home!
The trail starts from the Middlewood trains station (very easy to get to by train or car). There are lovely places to stop along the way to refuel or catch a refreshing pint. Lyme Park is a great location to stop and with lots to do, it´s a great way to pass part of the day.
