Details of Moderate Mountain Bike route around Loch Chon
This is a moderate level mountain bike trail that does have some tricky points as the terrain can get rough on some gravel tracks that run through the forest. The trail is made up of mixed terrain of gravel and asphalt and the total distance is roughly 43,5 km. Due to the sometimes difficult ground conditions, I would recommend this trail for months without snow and ice.
This is a convenient trail to do if you are traveling by car as there is free and easy parking at the start (and finish point). As a circular trail it´s perfect for not having to worry about having to get home. There is a nice café along the way for a summer´s lunch.
