Stew’s team of instructors are at hand here at Quayside to help take your riding to the next level. All staff are fully qualified and highly experienced, holding instructor and Boat Driver Awards issued by the BWSF (British Waterski Federation). All this insures your visit with us is not only fun, but safe. Our one on one tuition here results in you learning faster, so even with no previous experience, we’ll get you up on the water in no time.
The first lesson starts with a dockside talk to guide you through your course. Your qualified instructor will then show you the basic skills required to learn how to get up on a wakeboard or water skis. A specially designed training bar will help you through those first stages on the water, making it easy to get started.
During the following 2 lessons you will progress from the training bar to wakeboarding or waterskiing behind the boat on a long line. You will also learn techniques for deep water starts, edging, and crossing the wakes.
Get You Up course lessons can be booked from Monday to Friday in peek season, weekend bookings are possible out of peak season. The three lessons can be taken in a single day, however, we recommend that you spread them across 2 or 3 days. There is no need for them to be consecutive days.
