Description of Shearwater Coastal Cruises Diving

At Shearwater Coastal Cruises Diving they dive off the stunning coast of the Llyn Peninsula of North Wales.  They mainly concentrate on clubs and groups who charter the whole of the boat for a full day.  Their capacity is for 12 divers and each diver is asked to bring an extra cylinder, as they stay out for two dives, interspersed with a comfortable surface interval.

Strong tidal streams and deep underwater pinnacles are a feature of the area, with fabulous undersea life.  They offer wreck dives, and some people are quite impressed with they see, but these would not really satisfy the wreck diving fanatic, so they don't regard them as a feature of the area and are reluctant to overly [romote them.

Whilst they do specialise mainly in scenic wildlife cruises, they nevertheless like to do a few dive charters every year as being divers themselves. It is nice to \"occasionally mix with our own!

For any enquiries or bookings, contact Shearwater Coastal Cruises Diving and they will be thrilled to take you out on a fabulous dive!

Description of Shearwater Coastal Cruises Boat Trips

Welcome to Shearwater Coastal Cruises Boat Trips! "Shearwater" sails daily from Pwllheli Marina, offering two cruises per day, providing they have sufficient passengers and sea conditions are suitable.   Morning cruises, afternoon cruises and evening cruises (height of the summer) are available for exceptional experiences!

Complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits are served on each cruise from the well equipped galley.  Passengers are free to move between the stern lower deck, the stern upper deck, the spacious lounge and the very popular foredeck where one is close to the action.  Shearwater has an electric flush toilet in a large toilet compartment that has a washbasin with hot and cold water, plus soap and towels.  For the comfort of their passengers and for ease of management, they have restricted the passenger capacity to just 30.  The boat has a sophisticated sound system and an underwater video camera for watching the life on the seabed, that is displayed on a large monitor in the lounge.

The Llyn Peninsula has spectacular wildlife and justifies a boat built specifically for operating in this area.   Shearwater was designed, in consultation with a marine architect, and was built (finished 2010) to their own ideas and features that were devised after 10 years experience in running Shearwater Coastal Cruises in this area.  Being an authorised passenger boat, both the building and the subsequent operation of the boat is closely supervised, checked and monitored by the Maritime and Coastguard agency of the Department of Transport.  The boat is particularly suited to disabled passengers and satisfying the needs of wheelchair bound passengers was a priority feature in the boat's design.

For an amazing sea life watching experience (come see the dolphins frolick in the waves), look no further than Shearwater Coastal Cruises Boat Trips! Contact them today for enquiries or bookings!
