They offer affordable yachting along the Solent from MDL Mercury Yacht Harbour on the Hamble River, on the South Coast of the UK and are an excellent base for Solent cruising or as a starting point for cross channel cruises if you´re looking for a longer charter.

Take a boat with a skipper to brush up on skills, gain confidence and make that step to chartering a boat 'bareboat'. Yachtforce run one off 'fill in' teaching and experience days around their charters providing a very affordable option for small groups to get afloat with a skipper and focus on the skills and drills that they want to learn. An alternative option is to use a 'fill in' day to take the family for an on water experience.

All of their yachts are fully equipped with latest navigational aids, safety equipment and are 'coded' by the MCA for safety on an annual basis. Most have heaters. All comfortably accommodate all crew. Their sailing lessons are run by exceptionally talented, patient and qualified skippers so your lessons will be of top quality.

Whether you are looking for stag and hen sailing parties, flotilla training, some social sailing weekends in the Solent, a cruise to France and the Channel Islands or some sailing tuition for all the family ask them to quote.

They do an excellent line in company sailing events for RITR Round the Island race), Cowes Week and Little Britain Regatta plus an array of company Yachting Event Days.

With their MCA commercially certified skippers, you can receive one-on-one instruction, private skippers for your own boat or anything else you may require. They will tailor an event to your requirements, your level and any requests you may have.

Yachtforce Yacht Charter & Sailing Events specialize in affordable yacht charters and sailing events from Mercury Yacht Harbour, Hamble giving excellent access access to the Solent,  the UK South Coast or even further afield to France and the Channel Isles if it suits you. Their yachts are well equipped with heating, top equipment and all electronics including radar so that your trip will be comfortable, safe and fun. Yachts are available from 32ft - 40ft.

Skippered Yacht charters are a great idea for special events like social gatherings, hen or stag do's or birthday parties. They can take care of all the arrangements for you so all you need to do is worry about having a brilliant time and enjoying the water and the views.

In a weekend  you can explore the Solent area, watch many of the incredible sailing events that go on, moor at different ports or anchor off secluded beaches for a picnic lunch and a swim.
In a weekend you can find more remote places or bustling towns with cracking pubs and restaurants. Cowes, Yarmouth, Portsmouth, Lymington, Southampton, the Beaulieu River or Newtown Creek... Your choice.

To give you an idea a 4 day charter would get you further afield to places such as Poole or Chichester and 5 or more days would let you get to France - but you would need to have some experienced sailors on board to cross the channel.

If you possess the right sailing skills or qualifications (Day Skipper or 3 yrs experience of similar vessel size) you can charter her without a skipper (bareboat) - or if you do not have any experience we can supply a skipper to sail you around and teach you at an additional £160 per day.

Skippers need to be fed and watered at your expence and have their own cabin. A good maximum number to have on a skippered charter would be 5 in the group plus the skipper.

At the commencement of both skippered and bareboat charter each boat receives a complementary 'starter pack' of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, tea towels and all cleaning materials. Equipment such as wet weather gear can be hired at minimal cost. Your yacht will be supplied with fully filled diesel and water tanks, gas cylinders and be fully cleaned. You return as found and clean down. If you wish cleaning can be undertaken at a charge of £60.

You will, however, need to supply your own pillows and bedding. These can be purchased locally from the 24hr Tesco Superstore just 5 minutes away.

MDL Mercury Yacht Harbour marina has free parking and the complex is 24hr staffed,there are excellent showers, toilets, laundry, a restaurant, bar, chandlery marine shop.

Other charter bases include Gosport and also Brighton Marina.
