Situated in the heart of the zoo, between our Patagonian sealions and DZG's very rare Humboldts penguins, the Discovery Centre, a listed Tecton building, is also home to a variety of small tame animals which are used in teaching sessions.
Exhibition areas tell visitors about our worldwide conservation projects and partnerships with interesting facts about some of the highly endangered 750 animals we have in the collection.
Child Safety
We do all that we can to ensure that Dudley Zoological Gardens is a safe place for you and your pupils to visit. We have undertaken our own risk assessments and have a variety of health and safety policies and procedures in place. Our education staff are CRB checked.
