At North Weald Flight Training, we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. Our objective is to offer top-notch flight training lessons as well as other flight experiences for special occasions. We are aware that flying is a demanding activity, which is why we aim to be 100% professional while also offering competitive rates for of our services.
We are based in the South East of England, in North Weald. More specifically, you will find us at the historic North Weald Airfield which is serviced by two concrete runways, as well as a grass one that is used in summer. We also have fully equipped facilities where you can enjoy a delicious meal and family or friends can also make full use of them while you are out flying. This allows us to operate throughout the year, including in winter so you will not see your training obstructed by boggy runways.
At North Weald Flight Training we offer a wide variety of flight training courses that take you from beginner level to enabling you to fly an aircraft by yourself. Our staff is comprised of fully qualified, experienced instructors who will help you every step of the way so that you reach your objectives. Our fleet consists of various Cessna light aircraft, including a C150, C152, C172 and a PA28.
The following programmes are available at our flight school, and you can enjoy Private pilot licences, Light aircraft pilot licence, Instrument rating restricted, competency-based instrument rating (CBIR), Radiotelephony classes and night rating programme.
We also offer pleasure flights for those looking to treat themselves to a new and exciting experience after a hard year at work, or simply want to celebrate a special occasion by surprising their better half or a family member with an aircraft flight.
