We offer narrowboat holidays from our base on the Trent and Mersey Canal at Mercia Marina in Derbyshire. We are situated between Fradley Junction and Shardlow, an ideal location for narrowboat hire on the Black Country Ring, Four Counties Ring and Leicester Ring. Return routes also include the beautiful rural Shropshire Union Canal, picturesque Great Haywood, or a trip to Stoke Potteries.

Don´t worry if you are a complete novice, you can still enjoy a narrowboat holiday, and we will provide you with full detailed tuition to ensure that you set off feeling confident and relaxed and you enjoy your canal boat holiday.

Our luxury canal boats have been designed and built to the highest of standards, and their size and layout is suitable for families as well as groups of friends. All of our narrowboats are less than four years old, and are rated 5 star by Visit Britain.
