Welcome to Derbyshire Caving Club
We are a caving club located in Stockport outside Manchester. We offer a variety of experiences in our caving outings, exploring both natural caves and abandoned mines. Our location is well suited to both activities, being near moors and an old mining region.
Exploring caves is a fun and exciting hobby to take up, and discovering old mines is an adventurous way for you to connect with the history or our region! Our mining past is truly ancient. You could see bronze age mining tools, or explore a former Roman mine.
Once you have joined our club, you can take trips for any ability level. We have novice trips for those looking to learn caving basics, and advanced trips for our more experienced members.
Our club also occasionally visits other underground artificial structures such as bunnkers and tunnels, among other things. Come and join us today!
