4-Seat Plane Landaway Flight, Elstree Aerodrome 3h

You can travel anywhere in the world from London, but most airlines won’t let you be the pilot.

We’re putting that right, with trial flights that include a landaway experience. We are based at London Elstree Aerodrome, right between Watford and Borehamwood, and from here we can fly to aerodromes in the home counties.

You’ll enjoy sweeping views of the city and country, including the Chiltern Hills, on the out and return flights. With time for an introduction and breiding, both flights and a quick turnaround, this experience lasts several hours.

We will use a 4-seat aircraft - either a Piper Warrior or a Cessna 172. This means that two people can pilot the plane, one on each flight. The weights and heights of all participants have to be submitted in advance.

One of the seats will be occupied by the pilot, who leads the experience as a flight instructor. They will take care of take off and landing and decide when it is safe to transfer control to you.
