Over the course of your journey we provide a range of games and challenges to help you improve your skills on the water while helping you improve to become more confident and comfortable in the canoe.
We will provide all of the equipment you will need to keep you safe as you learn skills that will serve you well for years to come.

If you are looking to experience kayaking or canoeing for the first time, you are in the right place! Thanks to our beginners' course, you can become familiar with the world of kayaking and canoeing.
This is a 1-day program, which serves as an entry level qualification to these amazing sports. The one-star is a generic award that proves you have a basic understanding of boat control and can be taken in any paddlesport. The emphasis of the course is on safe practice, fun and enjoyment.
This is a great course for both adults and youth and all tuition is given by our multi-award winner Coach, Albert Donovan.
We meet at the get in point and unload boats from the trailer and then get you ready to paddle. We go over the safe way to get into and out of the boat and then give you a safety briefing on paddling as well as training for the basic skills.
Would you like to break out of your routine and try new experiences? You can now do so with our canoeing/kayaking taster river session. There's no better way to get out of your comfort zone and spend the weekend in a different way!
Everyone is invited regardless of experience or ability. The session is led by the multi-award winner coach, Albert Donovan who is qualified to coach and assess all the main disciplines. All coaches are enhanced DBS checked and First Aid trained.
We strong recommend wearing clothes suitable for the weather, soft-soled shoes such as trainers and bringing with you a change of clothes and a towel. In addition, you will have access to our facilities should you require using them.
Albert Donovan, British Canoe Union Level 5T Coach will lead a choice of morning or sunset coaching trips for the British Canoe Union 1 star beginners and British Canoe Union 2 Star improvers courses. Information on flights and accomodation available on request.
Individuals who already have some understanding of kayaking and canoeing or those who have completed our 1-star course will find this course as a great way to complement and build upon the skills they have already learned.
The program is aimed at paddlers with previous experience at or above the BCU One Star level. The course will give you a solid grounding in the basic techniques (both kayak & canoe). It takes place at our facilities in Laleham.
The course consists of the following chapters: Theory & Safety considerations, Equipment, Boat Handling, Supports & Braces, Rescues, Action Plan & Review and multi-award winner Albert Donovan will be your Coach/Assessor.
The lesson last from 10 am to 4 pm.
We plan for you a great canoeing tour for two.
We have selected an excellent range of water sports for you and your partners. The beginners adventurous will have a fantastic trip around Hertfordshire.
Besides we are developing a plan that include techniques to the youngest people to make them feel comfortable about our lesson at the same time the enjoy. Go away inside a canoe, exercise your muscles and improve your health at the same time.
Any age can enjoy it. We include a good excursion for the lake in our hire equipment, after that we have a rest green zone to refresh and swing.
Furthermore you will be involve for the peaceful ambiance, even doing yoga with us. Another option is start in our introducing areas to learn as faster as you can. Very different ambiences: from hazardous people to the quietest customers.
The first day is the departing around 10:00 am from Tunbridge Well to the Peack District . There the wildlife will introduce the fantastic new challenge of 6 different activities in 8 places of this district. Enjoy abseiling, stream walking and canoeing and more
-Family games and natural pools.
-8 mile biking.
-Descending 700 foot bridge.
Every group have a tutor . In conclusion it will be 2 days long of fun.
