Caving Session Harrogate

Mobile Adventure offers you a full day of exploring some of the finest caving systems found in the UK. We offer both introductory trips for beginners and more extreme days for those looking for a real adrenaline rush.

Enjoy 3 hours of instructor led caving in Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales, one of the best areas of the UK for caving. All equipment provided.   All caving is done close to our site with nearby showers, 50 seater cafe and camp site.

Being an AALA accredited company; we can lead groups of unaccompanied children.

In the spirit of the 2012 Olympic year, How Stean Gorge’s outdoor adventure team have created a challenging action packed – all-inclusive - day of adventure. The Big 5 A Day consists of gorge scrambling, caving, canoeing, abseiling and the via ferrata course all in one day. This is the real thing, not a park!

Around Ingleton, there are hundreds of caves just waiting to be explored.  Why not take some friends and come with us?  We choose caves that are:

1. Appropriate to the weather conditions, &
2. Appropriate for the level of challenge you wish to undertake

We can start with caves that we use for primary school kids, but which have challenged the resolve of some of Britain's Army Cadets.  Moving on to more advanced caves with climbs up waterfalls, crawls, big pools & tighter squeezes!

Personal Kit Required that you will need to bring along:

• Wellington Boots
• Woolly Socks
• Old Waterproof & Windproof Jacket
• Old Waterproof & Windproof Trousers
• Tracksuit Trousers (guards against grazed knees & keeps you warm)
• Fleece Jacket
• Thermal T-shirt
• Big Bin Bag (to put wet clothes in afterwards)
• Bottle of Water/Hot Flask
• Packed Lunch
• Complete Change of Clothes

David Hendrickse offers a great way for families (or 2 families) to get adventurous and enjoy the great outdoors! We run this multi-adventure package, allowing you to choose 2 activities from the following:

• Abseiling
• Caving
• Climbing
• Raft building
• Canyoning

We assure you that this offer is the best option if you want to be introduced and discover the activity you choose. At David Hendrickse we will serve and fill all your needs. 

We will work with you to choose the appropriate activities for the weather, your group and your location.

Please note that the minimum age is 10 but we can lower it to 8, but please note that the level of challenge will be less.

We can accommodate practically everyone as long as they are over the age of 6.

Our company has been operating across the North of England for almost 30 years and we have provided outdoor adventures for more than 10,000 people. Come along and try our caving days (Saturdays and Sundays) in the Yorkshire Dales. We organise trips suitable for those aged 8 and over and we welcome bookings of groups of up to 8 people.

If you have never tried caving before, don't worry, your safety is our main priority and we will look after you the whole time. For the caving session, you will need to bring the following: Wellington boots, warm clothes (not jeans), a full change of clothes and packed lunch and drinks.

Mendips have various kinds of dusty caves. We will guide you inside the best cave of this group. You will be the witness of the action of the wind. This sport is a good combination between test your own individual strength skills and the team working that your group will have.

These sturdy spots offer to the visitor a variety species of animals. You also will see a lot of type of rocks. Exploration always requires a leader. We can teach you the basic knowledge about conservation, illuminating inside a cave, impact of the rocks and exploration vital terms.

These parts of the earth are already explore by or guides to give you a safety trip. The strong mental power is vital to have a good observation and to descend to the remote zones of the caves. Come and enjoy a speleology excursion.
