If the clay shooting isn’t enough to convince you, we think that our venue near Machynlleth, Powys, will seal the deal. It’s a large site in an idyllic valley, where meadows and woodland create a serene atmosphere.
This sport involves shooting flying clay targets with a shotgun. We will supply 15 clays and cartridges per person, shotguns and safety equipment, so you don’t need any specialist kit. It will take around 20 minutes to get through the shots.
We will also assign you an expert instructor. Our coaches regularly receive excellent reviews for their personal care and knowledge of the sport, so you know you’re in good hands.

Trying something new was never so easy.Come to our idyllic outdoor venue in Powys, not far from Machynlleth, and have a clay pigeon shooting taster session. Whatever your expectations of this sport are, prepare for them to be exceeded!
We will take care of everything, from lending you a shotgun and safety equipment, to setting up the traps with 25 clays per participant and providing ammunition. Just wear clothing appropriate to the outdoors and the season.
On top of that, we will arrange the tuition. Our clay shooting instructors are highly experienced and know how to motivate people to give their best.
This activity will last around an hour, though the duration can vary. We need a minimum of 2 people and bigger groups - families, friends, teams from work and more -are very welcome.

Welcome to the world of clay pigeon shooting.If you’re keen to get into this sport, join us for a 50-shot session and get a real feel for smashing clays. We’ll provide shotgun hire, safety equipment and cartridges so you’re free to concentrate on the excitement.
You won’t be facing the pigeons alone - we’ll send one of our expert instructors to accompany you. They’ll talk you through the basic techniques and correct use of equipment, then coach through each shot of the session.
This activity can be put on for 2 people or larger groups. It’s something a little different that you might want to bear in mind for a stag, hen or birthday party or a corporate outing.
