Pilot for a Day Helicopter Lesson (R22) at Redhill

Helicopters are powerful and majestic. Having a flying experience in the skies with one of them it's something beyond this world. Can you imagine learning to control one? It must be a unique and rewarding adventure.

You can come to Redhill Aerodrome to enjoy our trial lessons. They are the perfect activity to give it a go, and if you fancy getting an exhilarating adrenaline dose, why not get our "Discovery Day Trial Lesson"? We promise it never disappoints. You'll be under the instruction of a professional pilot, who'll teach you to operate the helicopter.

We'll fly on an R22 helicopter, a 2-seat aircraft. The perfect one for the instructor and you! Once you get familiar with and confident, you'll have two hours of flying time, catching unique views of Surrey and its countryside. Your designated pilot will ensure you have as much time as possible to fly the aircraft.

Please allow a day to complete your experience. The minimum weight we require is 17 stones, but we suggest to advise if you're over 15.
