2h Horseback Hack in the Ceiriog Valley

Looking for some of the best riding in the country?

Look no further than this horseback hack. It takes place on the border of two countries, England and Wales in the unspoiled beauty of a little known part of the Marches, the Ceiriog Valley.

Hacking is a vigorous activity, designed to provide exercise for horse and rider. We’ll go trotting and cantering along tracks, trails and bridleways for 2 hours, enjoying expansive views, clean lungfuls of air and peace and quiet.

Due to the techniques involved, this is a ride for those with experience on horseback. Come prepared for a bracing ride with appropriate clothing and footwear and bring your own riding hat. If you can’t, don’t worry - you can borrow one of ours.

Our horses have different shapes, sizes, temperaments and abilities, and we’d like to know more about you in advance of the ride to make sure we choose a good match. We will ask about your height, weight and experience.
