1h Horseback Hack on the Menai Straits

We offer hacking on horseback on this beautiful Welsh Island. A hack isn’t suitable for absolute beginners, but we have 3 different routes of varying difficulty levels so we can accommodate most riders.

We’ll start the experience with an assessment of each participant at the riding school and then choose whether to stick to our trotting route or include some catering and galloping as well.

We have access to private bridleways which run right along the shore of the Menai Straits, a stunning arm of the Irish Sea. Other tracks and trails take us into the interior of the island across meadows and through woodland.

We can supply riding hats to those who don’t have them and only ask you to dress for the time of year with clothes that cover your arms and legs. We will also ask for your riding level, weight and height (in advance) to make sure this hack comes off without a hitch!
