Description of Group F1 Karting Race in Ernesettle (16yrs+) 1h

Karting gives you the chance to race like a pro and we put on sprint race events for everyone to get involved in. They are for teams of 6 - 11 racers (minimum 8 at weekends) over the age of 16.
The event starts with a welcome and briefing, before the pilots take to their karts. There’s a 10-minute practice session, then 10 minutes of qualifying, which determines positions on the starting grid. Finally, the big race - 20 laps of the 300-metre circuit.
To make this a really exciting experience, you’ll be racing in a SODIKART RT10, a kart with a 270 cc engine. For safety, we’ll provide helmets, race suits and neck braces. Please wear trainers or similar closed footwear. You will also need a balaclava, which can be bought from us if you don’t have your own.
At the end of the race, trophies will be presented to the top 3 drivers. Every participant will receive a printout of their performance stats.

How long the activity lasts
This race event includes 10 minutes' practice, 10 minutes' qualifying and a final 20-lap race. It will last an hour or more in total.
