Kayaking at River Blue for half a day

Somerset deserves to be discovered rolling on a wonderful river like the Blue. With its flat water flows and the non
-existence waves, it's a nice place to enjoy the beauty and the nature that this land can provide.

Thus, you must book our 4-hour canoeing session where you can jump into one of our single kayaks and paddle around despite your previous experience or your current abilities. Our instructors will provide briefings on safety and they will also share some tips in order to make you feel comfortable.

Equipment is included and you will get great buoyancy aids and all that you need for the experience itself. You need to bring, however, a spare change of clothes and that would be all!

River Blue has an incredible historical value as it was used by Romans and ancient cultures to bring in and out food and other goods, but also for going to spots in the country like Highbridge itself. It is also protected by the Somerset Wildlife Trust, thanks to the richness of its wildlife. Did you know, for instance, that you can find only here the beautiful and rare Large Blue, a butterfly species that has blue, crystalline wings?

You should bring something to eat and drink in order to have your energy levels at their highest the whole time, though we have refreshments available,  and don't forget about bringing waterproof jackets that you can use during the travel.

As we know that you're going to remember 4 because it's the number of hours that the activity lasts, 4 is also the age that you must be in order to take part in it!
