Calling all thrill seekers and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy an exhilarating navigation and hill walking course over the most stunning Scottish Mountains. It's a delightful experience that will exceed your expectations!
We meet at Ingliston Park, where a friendly qualified guide will greet you to depart (we include transport) towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. We will focus on multiple aspects of navigation such as learning how to read maps, including interpreting contours and map orientation, how to use a compass by following a bearing accurately, navigation techniques and more. You'll boost your confidence and improve your skills.
Your experience will be approximately 10-12 hours long, guaranteeing you'll become a competent navigator under our supervision. We supply all the equipment, including a map and compass and 25L rucksack. Please don't forget your hiking boots, lightweight fleece, waterproof jacket, hat, gloves and lunch.
We cater our experiences for small groups of 4-6 people to adapt every aspect of the course to your needs and interests. We welcome people 14+ years old with a moderate fitness level!
