Description of RYA Level 2 Powerboat Course Wallasey
This two day coastal powerboat training course with Safewater Training Sea School Ltd provides the practical skills and theory knowledge needed to drive a powerboat competently and is the basis for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).
No previous knowledge or experience is required and the minimum age to undertake this course is 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued with an endorsed certificate.
The course includes close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvers, man overboard recovery, lanuch and recovery,securing to a mooring buoy, coming and leaving alongside, anchoring, emergency situations and collision regulations.
*You will require some footwear that you don’t mind getting wet, a passport sized photograph, a packed lunch and some warm clothing to complete the package.
