Glen Orchy in Argyll is a hidden paradise. The river is just a trickle in the summer, but the autumn and winter rains transform it into an Alpine-style torrent of grade 3 to 5 rapids - the most intense of any river in the UK.
This means difficult rafting in cold-weather conditions, enough to put off all but the most adventurous travellers. And that’s the way it should be, we only take adults (over 18 years old) who have experience of white water rafting on these trips.
Our expert guides will be waiting for you in the Bridge of Orchy car park with the rafts, helmets, buoyancy aids, wetsuits and extra warm layers ready to go. We also have a safety vehicle on hand at all times.
