White Water Rafting Day at River Usk (9+yrs)

White Water Rafting is an exciting sport for real adrenaline seekers. It allows you to recharge your energy as you work with your friends to follow the rapids. It's a fun and unique adventure, as you never come across the same bumps, boilers and drops.

We run our white water rafting at multiple venues around Cardiff City Centre. Our favourite spots are the River Usk, Wye and Rhondda. Our dedicated team opens the session with a safety briefing. We supply all the equipment, including helmets, buoyancy aid, wetsuits and splash jackets. Our venues are not dependent on dam releases, meaning you can join us anytime!

Participants are taken by bus to the top of the course for every descent. We welcome people of all abilities, however, please keep in mind white water rafting is a demanding activity. We welcome people of 9 years old and above. Before departing, your designated instructor will teach you the best techniques, including stoppers, moving through boilers and more.

It's a full-day rafting adventure, unlikely other venues that offer 2-hour sessions. We strive to organise all the details of your sessions, but we might change the activity to a similar alternative, such as Gorge Walking due to adverse river conditions.
