Open Group Surf Lesson on Fistral Beach for 2h

Sometimes you’ve got to go with the flow!

We know that having a group surf lesson in Newquay isn’t exactly the most original experience for a summer holiday, but there are a couple of reasons to choose our two-hour classes from the dizzying array of alternatives.

First of all, our surf centre is perched on the Gazzle Peninsula overlooking Fistral Beach - the Surfer’s Paradise of the British Isles. The waves here are the stuff of legend, and we can spot them coming in before anyone else.

Secondly, we keep our ratio of instructor to participants low - no more than one to five. We often have more than five people turning up for a class, so we split them up into groups of five according to age and ability and assign each a charismatic surf guide.

Finally, the equipment (high-quality and frequently inspected) is part and parcel of the experience. Bring a swimsuit and a towel and we’ll do the rest - wetsuit, surfboard and leash.
