We've been operating since 2006, after Mark Murphy, our founder, realised he wanted to share his skills and passion with everyone. He started as a diving instructor and has travelled to multiple places to teach others how to dive. He's an Emergency First Response Instructor, certified PADI Master Scuba Diver trainer, and the winner of Sport Diver Magazines as "Best Diving Instructor".
His direction and influence have made Oyster Diving the winner of the UK Dive Centre of the Year in 2010 and 2012. We pride ourselves in accomplishing many awards and certifications. We are a 5-star PADI Scuba Diving School and have won the "Recognition of Commitment to Diver Acquisition in PADI Training award" in 2017 as well.
