Sub Aqua Association (SAA)

Welcome to the Sub Aqua Association

We are not a diving centre and do not offer diving courses, but we are an organisation that will help you find a dive club so you can learn and improve your diving skills. Our member clubs are all independent, but maintain the national standards of the SAA. If you are not looking for lessons and are already qualified, then we can help you find a club to go diving, that will recognise qualifications from all major organisations.

You can be assured of a high level of training when you join one of our clubs, as they will follow the guidelines and standards that we set.

The diving qualifications that our clubs offer include:

• Elementary Diver Trainee (EDT)
• Elementary Diver (ED)
• Open Water Diver (OWD)
• Club Diver (CD)
• Dive Leader (DL)
• Dive Supervisor (DS)
• National Diver (ND)
